Bread and Breakfast with Natural Organic

Last month, I've a chance to joined the bloggers and media for an exciting cooking session with chef Michael Elfwing at Senses Restaurant, Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Chef Michael Elfwing, an award wining Chef de Cuisine known for his widely anticipated cooking classes using organic products.

The workshop started with a warm welcome and introduction by Ms. Tania Lee, Brand Manager for Naturel.  She shared that the Naturel Living campaign consists of 3 main principles to achieve a well balanced lifestyle, Which are : Eat healthily, exercise regularly and get enough rest and relaxation. To observe the Naturel living, It is essential to choose natural and quality ingredients when cooking and to also start your day right with a nutritious breakfast. As bread has become one of the staple diet and a very popular feature in the breakfast menu, therefore essential that ingredient that go into making bread contain beneficial properties.
For the following one hour, we have an great experience hand-on bread-making session with Chef Michael Elfwing on Naturel Olive Oil Signature Multigrain & Seeds Loaf. 
Chef Michael Elfwing shared the advantages of using olive oil, especially organic extra virgin olive oil in baking bread. Organic extra virgin olive oil is usually smooth and sweet and has fruity taste so it comes across the breads or any other food that you put it in.

Then, Chef Michael Elfwing also demonstrated ways to prepare nutritious and easy breakfast side dishes to accompany and complement the homemade bread using Naturel Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil .

Poached Eggs with Asparagus
Breaded Chicken Patties with Tzatziki
Sauteed Mushrooms with Spring Onions and Parsley
During the interactive session with Indra Balaratnam, a Consultant Dietitian.  Indra highlighted the important of breakfast and heart healthy properties of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. She shared that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Preparation of breakfast has always been a concern for mothers, who constantly look for nutritious and wholesome varieties for their family. According to Indra, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from organically grown olives, which then pressed to extract the oil. This oil premium in quality as it is obtained from the first cold pressing. This method ensures the nutritious properties of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, such as poliphenols ( source of antioxidants) and Vitamin E are retained as much as possible.
 At the end of the workshop, we have a group photo and afternoon tea with Chef Michael Elfwing.
