Coming Home

Every year Petronas did a very good job on their advertisement, I'm touched by the new TVC titled “Coming Home” for this year. The TVC brought out the spirit of perseverance, adaptability and determination as captured in each of the stories it depicts. This energy is something that should inspire us all as we navigate through the challenges we face in life !

Apart from the stunning TVC, Petronas is also organizing a photography contest themed 'Reimaging Energy'  from 17th January to 12th February 2012 . Reimagining energy can take many forms: it could be the human energy of a Reunion dinner or the kinetic energy of families traveling far to be together. It could be the picture of a family getting into a car at this festive time. It could be the portrait of the grandfather in your family during CNY, the man who preserves the family's values, or it could be the image of a new city where you are starting a new business venture at this time. Portraits, cityscapes, street photography, landscapes, fashion, and abstract shots: all are acceptable, and participants must not feel limited, as long as they are interpreting the theme mentioned above, and that is clearly visible to a viewer. Please check the Term and Condition of the contest before you send in your photo.

To participate, you have to capture the Chinese New Year moments that best depict the spirit of Reimagining Energy. Then submit to the Petronas Facebook Page www.facebook.com/petronas1
